Prognosis of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) based ...

2019-8-23 · The scientific understanding of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) has improved in recent decades. Nevertheless, there has been little research into the role that lncRNAs play in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). More lncRNAs are assumed to influence the progression of ccRCC via their own molecular mechanisms. This study investigated the prognostic significance of differentially expressed ...

For example, Guo et al. reported that galactose-modified black phosphorus nanosheet could improve the affinity to bacteria, which killed P. aeruginosa totally at low concentrations (8 µg mL –1). Moreover, the strength of this affinity could be improved by the adjustment of the number and species of glycosyl groups on the surface of the ...

Despite the impressive abilities of coherent multi-dimensional spectroscopy (CMDS), its'' implementation is limited due to the complexity of continuum generation and required phase stability between the pump pulse pair. 2018-2-22 · The arabinogalactan protein (AGP) family is one of the most complex protein families and is ubiquitous in the plant kingdom. Moreover, it has been demonstrated to play various roles during plant reproduction. A typical AGP contains a hydroxyproline-rich core protein with high heterogeneity and varying numbers of polysaccharide side chains. However, the functions of the polysaccharide ...

The reaction C+ + H2O → HCO+/HOC+ + H is one of the most important astrophysical sources of HOC+ ions, considered a marker for interstellar molecular clouds exposed to intense ultraviolet or x-ray radiation. Despite much study, there is no consensus on rate constants for formation of the formyl ion isomers in this reaction. This is largely due to difficulties in laboratory study of ion ...

Single-mode laser by parity-time symmetry breaking | Science

2014-11-21 · Effective manipulation of cavity resonant modes is crucial for emission control in laser physics and applications. Using the concept of parity-time symmetry to exploit the interplay between gain and loss (i.e., light amplification and absorption), we demonstrate a parity-time symmetry–breaking laser with resonant modes that can be controlled at will.
